The Customer Experience Functional Analyst will be responsible for providing ongoing support to operations and assisting in the delivery of projects, from design to implementation, for the solutions and systems that underpin business processes. In this role, you will be called upon to bridge the gap between the IT and business teams covered by the competency centre to which you report. You will specialize in the analysis of business processes to convert them into IT solutions by modelling the processes. From this modelling, you will design and develop, together with your team, an IT solution that meets the business needs. Once the solution is implemented, you will ensure that it meets the needs of the business sector.
- Analysis responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze needs in terms of business processes, application software, and system development for users in the sectors under your responsibility;
- Analyze the business processes and write the documentation in order to optimize operations according to the selected indicators;
- Write and review functional specifications according to agile methodology and best practices;
- Configure modules and other systems related to the team to meet business requirements;
- Conduct tests and document results to confirm system functionality;
- Provide support to end users for stabilization purposes when new changes are deployed;
- Participate in the preparation of training materials and the training of key users;
- Develop a privileged relationship with business partners within the company, and translate their needs into technical requirements for your competence centre;
- Anticipate issues and risks by setting up controls and associated action plans to secure production launches;
- Advise and assist users in a perspective of improvement and innovation;
- Investigate, analyze and resolve problems or incidents related to production systems.
- Operational responsibilities:
- Contribute to operational support under the responsibility of your competence centre;
- Actively monitor production system processes and activities;
- Investigate, analyze and provide recommendations on problems or incidents;
- Translate business, operational and functional requirements to the development teams;
- Participate in the quality control activities of the processes of your competence centre.

Does this sound like you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field;
- Knowledge of the retail environment (grocery and/or pharmacy, an asset);
- Experience with an agile environment, an asset;
- Experience with Jira and Confluence, an asset;
- Willingness to travel between client offices (Laval, Montreal, Varennes, Ontario);
- Ability to demonstrate leadership and autonomy;
- Demonstrated analytical and synthesis skills;
- Strong communication skills and popularization of technical subjects;
- Customer focus with the ability to have a business-oriented vision;
- Proven ability to resolve conflicts;
- Communication skills and ability to adapt to the audience;
- Ability to analyze a great deal of information and present a clear and concise summary;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables at the same time;
- Experienced professional who enjoys the challenges of transformation and technology integration;
- Bilingualism (oral and written) is essential. Level expected:
