Job title: Labourer/Mechanic/Driver

Job description: DC Dirtworks is looking for someone with strong mechanical skills, is very well organized, and is willing to help in other parts of the job. Their primary job would be keeping the shop organized, and equipment working, and occassionally helping in the field with day to day operations. A class 1A license will be an asset, but not necessary. We have trackhoes, backhoe, directional drill, trencher, skid steers, and hydro vac. We do everything from installing utilities (water/sewer/power/telephone) to digging basements, to small landscaping jobs. We have lots of work, and need energetic people.

Skills and Abilities

Transportation/Travel Information
– Valid driver’s licence
Specific Skills
– Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
– Load, unload and transport construction materials
– Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Security and Safety
– Driving record check (abstract)
Own Tools/Equipment
– Steel-toed safety boots
