PRESENTATION :
Our business partner is a law firm that has been working in the business world for several decades and enjoys a good reputation. The firm is currently seeking a lawyer with approximately 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in commercial law, particularly in information technology law.
On a daily basis, the selected candidate will work on stimulating and diversified files related to various sectors of activity, in particular artificial intelligence, software licenses, and this, with a sophisticated clientele.
YOUR ROLE:
Review, draft and negotiate various types of contracts;
Work on a variety of mandates related to different sectors of activity, including artificial intelligence;
Be involved in the closing of transactions;
Play a role as an advisor and partner internally and externally in technology and commercial law.
PREREQUISITE :
Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar with approximately 4 to 8 years of relevant experience;
Excellent level of English, both written and oral,
Experience in intellectual property/franchising will be considered an asset;
Autonomy, proactivity and thoroughness;
Professionalism, resourcefulness and attention to detail.
