Our downtown client, a large and prestigious local business success story, is looking to hire a permanent, full-time Legal and Administrative Assistant.

Location – Downtown Vancouver, 100% in-office
Salary – Base Salary $48K-$55K + benefits

Primary Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the Managing Director, Legal Services and paralegal;
  • Handle department mail, including acceptance of service documents from process servers;
  • Annual Maintenance and consent resolutions for both Canadian and U.S. corporations, as well as maintain extra-provincial registrations and trade names across Canada and U.S.;
  • Attend to scanning and updating virtual and actual minute books of various corporations.
  • Corporate transactions including: Trade Name Registrations, Director/Officer
  • Review and update minute books, identify issues or deficiencies and follow up on outstanding matters;
  • Provide administrative support to the Manager, Corporate Marketing;
  • Work with designers to coordinate promotional material for Concierge Program
  • Provide excellent customer service through the Concierge Program, answering all

The Ideal Background:

  • Graduate of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program or Office Administrative Assistant program is beneficial but not required;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Work with minimal supervision and able to work effectively under pressure with time constraints and maintain composure and professionalism in all business situations;
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to multitask and set priorities to meet deadlines;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to liaise with individuals at the executive and Board levels;
  • Pleasant and friendly demeanor and ability to maintain professionalism in work related events;
  • Possess team player attitude and exercise good judgement;
  • Able to adapt to new technologies and computer savvy;
  • Strong attention to detail and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
