Job description: ABOUT THE JOB
Our client, based in Burlington, Ontario, who specializes in financing, is currently looking for a Level 1 IT Support Technician.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
– Provide technical support to local and remote users
– Communicate and follow up on solutions to various problems submitted
– Manage the inventory of equipment, software and license compliance
– Replace and assign computer equipment
– Manage login, access rights and workstation security
– Manage VOIP and cellular phone systems
– Assist the team in charge of developing and testing new software applications
– Document operational and problem resolution processes

OUR REQUIREMENTS
– A DEC in computer science or in the process of obtaining the degree
– Bilingualism (English and French) in order to serve customers from all provinces
– Experience with technical support software (ticketing system)
– Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN)
– Infrastructure Microsoft Exchange 365, Azure Active Directory
– Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
– Comptia A+ or similar certification, an asset
– Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
– Knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems
– Knowledge of VMWare virtualization, an asset
