Job title: Level 1 IT Technician

Job description: Alteo is looking for a Level 1 IT Technician for a permanent position based in Northern Quebec (on-site work).

Responsibilities:

– Answer phone calls and provide first line technical support to users.
– Document tickets and assign them to different groups according to the nature of the request.
– Prioritize tickets according to departmental policies and follow up with applicants.
– Respond to various incident requests and service requests according to established priorities.
– Deploy various equipment required within the organization’s computer pool while ensuring their maintenance.
– Maintain a stable and efficient technological environment.

Profile:

– AEC/DEC in IT.
– Previous experience in a call center is an asset.
– Excellent customer service skills and a desire to help others.
– Strong oral communication skills and excellent listening skills.
– Accuracy and attention to detail.
– Ability to express yourself fluently in English.
