Job title: Level 2&3 IT Technician

Job description: Alteo is looking for an Level 2&3 IT Technician for a permanent position based in Longueuil.

*** Hybrid mode: office + telecommuting ***

As part of a small team, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency of the installation / configuration, operation and maintenance of hardware, software and associated infrastructure. You will work in internal user support mode (60% of the time) and project mode (40% of the time).

Responsibilities:

– Participate in the management of computer equipment
– Provide technical support to users in multiple locations
– Resolve change requests and support tickets according to our SLAs
– Actively participate in various IT projects (e.g. Office 365 implementation, security tools, IP telephony etc.)

Profile:

– AEC/DEC in IT or equivalent
– 3 years experience in IT support
– Excellent customer service skills
– Excellent knowledge of Windows 10 / Office Suite environments
– Knowledge of Windows servers and networking
– Knowledge of Office365, including Teams (asset)
– Knowledge of Veeam / VMWare / Fortigate / fortiswitch (asset)
– Autonomous and ability to work in a team
– Excellent ability to diagnose problems and manage priorities
– Fluency in French (oral, written), knowledge of technical English
