Job description: Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Logistics Coordinator for a leading lighting manufacturer in Richmond Hill, ON. As a Logistics Coordinator you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within the supply chain.

Pay rate: $50,000 /year
Location: Richmond Hill (hybrid – in office Wednesday, from home rest of the week)
Shifts: 8:30 am – 5:00pm
Job type: Permanent| Full-time
Responsibilities:
Negotiate Freight Rates with Carriers
Reviews and enters freight invoices into system
Files Freight Claims
Requests POD and deals with Customer issues related to deliveries. Provides guidance and solutions for complex logistics problems
Produce Assist sheets and provide customs documents to Customs for shipment coming into Canada
Makes arrangements for delivery appointments, and confirms if special delivery instructions are required
Prepares US customs paperwork for moving shipments to the US
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
1 year experience with Logistics, Freight and Customs
Experience with MS Office application (Word, Excel, Email, Powerpoint)
Experience with Microsoft Navision would be an asset
Ability to Multi task
Excellent Communication skills
