The Healthcare Engagement Training Specialist will act as the training lead for Medical Education in Medical Affairs and Healthcare Engagement operations activities across Janssen. The incumbent in this role will work closely with the Director, Medical education, Manager, Healthcare Engagement Operations, Health Care Compliance (HCC) Officer & and the Sales Excellence Training team to ensure that training achieves desired learning objectives aligned to compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

In accordance with all applicable federal, local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson and/or Janssen Inc. policies, procedures and guidelines, this position has the following responsibilities:

  • Assess All existing HCC-related processes and supportive learning, curate content and develop/validate HCC curricula as relevant for Sales and Medical Affairs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Medical Affairs, Sales Excellence Training, Healthcare Engagement and HCC to ensure that training achieves desired learning objectives aligned to compliant requirements for interacting with Healthcare Professionals.
  • Define learning technology for capabilities, and development training in Medical Education to design, develop and deploy beneficial training solutions based on problem solving analysis resulting in effective interventions that are results-oriented, comprehensive, and deliver value towards strategic business goals.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to identify and prioritize role-based training gaps and develop relevant Digital and Live learning resources to maximize uptake of SOPs, Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure that high-quality, innovative, and effective learning solutions are delivered in a coordinated fashion with the Manager, Medical L&D and local/global SMEs to develop learning paths/resources aligned to the Medical Affairs competency framework and business.
  • Lead partnerships with relevant training vendors based on learning objectives and compliance requirements to deliver engaging training as required for the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, Master’s Degree is an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience is required.
  • Quality or compliance in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, clinical or medical devices is an asset.
  • Good understanding of IMC code of conduct, and Health Canada regulations is an asset.
  • Proficient skill level in Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, Zoom and Microsoft OFFICE applications are required.
  • Experience in Learning Design for virtual and live training programs is required.
  • Experience working with regulated or controlled documents and managing training records in an audit preparation setting is required.
  • Experience in process mapping, proven project management skills, ensuring projects are realized on time and on budget is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal is required.
  • Very strong presentation, and facilitation skills, preferably in a training environment is required.
  • Prioritization and organization of workflow activities to meet tight deadlines is required.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment is critical.
  • Superior level of attention to detail is required.
  • Familiarity with diverse learning technologies is an asset (LMS, e-Learning authoring tools etc.)
