We are looking for Park Maintenance Students or Recent Graduates responsible for the operation and maintenance of Sherbourne Commons from May-October 2022 at part-time basis (20 hours/week).

How will you contribute to the team?

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Operate and maintain a variety of park maintenance equipment, including UV disinfection units, pumps, valves, and main control system.
• General park maintenance such as litter pick up, cleaning, and other related maintenance.
• Operate pressure washing machine.
• Answer general questions from the public.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you contribute?

• Currently enrolled or recent graduate from an engineering or skilled trades post-secondary program – college or university.
• Experience with park maintenance would be an asset.
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends as required.
• Some mechanical aptitude is required to operate park machinery.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
