Salary: $50,000 to $58,000 (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time/ 37.5-hour week

Our client, a well-established and reputable brand, is actively looking for a dynamic Payroll Technician to become an integral part of their team. As a key player in their Human Resources Department, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing payroll operations for diverse divisions such as engineering, distribution, logistics, legal affairs, and more.Ideal Candidate: – At least 2 years of experience
– Bilingual for communications outside of Quebec
– Experience using SAP and/or Nethris (Ideal)
– Resourceful and problem solverMain Responsibilities:- Coordinating and overseeing payroll activities for both unionized and non-unionized employees
– Ensuring authorized payments comply with company policies and current collective agreements
– Making necessary corrections to employee payrolls, validating corrections, etc.
– Foster administrative follow-ups on benefits and group insurance
– Applying hiring and departure procedures for employees (tax, group insurance, pension funds, etc.)
– Preparing all necessary documents for opening, closing, or other modifications to employee records
