Job description: Position: Bilingual Construction Site Superintendent
Location: Gatineau
Salary: $90,000 a year
Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Job Type: Permanent
Benefits: Health, disability, life insurance, dental, vision, 4 weeks of vacation and 5 PTO days

We are looking for a Bilingual Construction Site Superintendent.

Job Requirements:

– Fully bilingual (French and English) mandatory
– Clean criminal background check
– High school diploma
– 10 years of experience in site management

Job Description:

– Plan, coordinate and supervise work on site
– Review and execute plans and specifications
– Set priorities and lead according to the schedule of projects
– Analyze plans, specifications, agenda, site guidelines as well as material and labor budgets
– Ensure deadlines, budgeted labor and quality of work requirements are met
– Ensure foremen have the production sheets, materials, plans and specifications for the assigned projects
– Plan the production of material orders
– Validate the dimensions to the plans with the construction site and attend the taking of measurements
– Participate in external start-up meetings
– Monitor the progress of active sites
