Job description: Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary to permanent, full-time PM Textile Production Worker for our client, an established company majoring in outdoor gear located in Burnaby, BC. • Pay rate: $18/hour + 4% vacation pay
• Location: Burnaby, BC
• Shifts: Monday to Friday | 3 PM – 11 PM
• Job type: Full-time | Temporary to Permanent
• Transit Access: yes
• Parking: Free on-site
• Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate garment-related equipment and follow manufacturing procedures.
• Perform maintenance routine as required.
• Adhere to quality expectations and requirements.
• Enjoy working in a team setting and achieving targets by team function.
• Support continuous improvement by providing ideas and participating in improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Follow all safety regulations and report all hazards, injuries, and accidents immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Grade 10 Education or equivalent is needed
• Industrial garment experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
• Proficiency in computer skills is a must
• Able to handle and lift up to 25 lbs
• Should have excellent communication and organizational skills
• Capable of following verbal and/or written work instructions and techniques
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Capable of recognizing special instructions for Customer orders
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
