POSITION TITLE: Production General Labourer

SHIFT: Day / Evening

JOB STATUS: Full-time

ESTABLISHMENT: Red deer

SUMMARY

The Production General Labourer will: manipulate product on the production line, manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, cleaning work areas and equipment, feed and unload processing machines, check products and packaging for basic quality defects.

• Performing manual tasks on the production line to process and package meat;
• Ensure product meets customer specifications;
• Capable of following direction from immediate supervisor;
• Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

• Good manual dexterity;
• Team-oriented and to multi-task;
• Responsible and reliable;
• Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive tasks in a fast paced environment;
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment;
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.;
• Capable of working on the production line while standing during the eight (8) hour shift;
• Production experience is preferred;
• Knowledge of GMP’s and HACCP regulations is an asset.
