Job title: Production Transport Coordinator
Job description: A Production Transport Coordinator position is ideal for a fast-paced, multitask-oriented person who enjoys working with a variety of vehicles of all makes, models, and sizes. It is ideal for persons experienced in the delivery industry, who can create optimal route maneuvering to get the task done in an efficient and timely manner. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented person to join our team.
This position is full-time with the need for overtime availability. The person for this job must have the experience and confidence of driving small to large vehicles in and out of the Vancouver area. The position is based in our Langley location.
Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Logistics:
- Coordinate the transportation of rental vehicles from our Langley location to various film and media production sites in Vancouver, BC.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for vehicle deliveries and returns to ensure timely and accurate logistics.
- Client Communication:
- Liaise with the Clearway Production Sales Manager to understand the day-to-day transportation requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, and concerns, and coordinating logistics based on their specific needs.
- Work closely with the Langley Location Manager, as well as the Control Room to ensure that vehicles are properly maintained, inspected, and prepared for transportation.
- Stay informed on roadway challenges using Google and Apple maps, and be able to adapt throughout the day to get optimal delivery success.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and guidelines for transporting vehicles.
- Act as the primary point of contact for any issues related to transportation logistics, addressing, and resolving challenges promptly to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in transportation coordination or logistics is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and transportation regulations.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Quality Control:
- Will use Record360 video software to fully inspect all vehicles delivered or picked up.
- Be detail-oriented, making sure all vehicles delivered are in exceptional working order and presentation.
- Efficient in catching new damages and reporting them to the claims department in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively to the team of drivers, making sure all deliveries are on time.
- Keep work area, tools, and equipment organized and in clean and working condition.
Wage: $21-$23 to start, dependent on experience.

Confident Abilities:
- Grade 12 Completion (or equivalent).
- Class 5 DL and experience driving various makes, models, and sizes of vehicles.
- Clean Driver Abstract, drive in a way that respects others on the road.
- Quick Learner- able to assimilate, to grasp and comprehend efficiently.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Fluent in English – able to communicate well and be clearly understood.
