We are looking for a Project Management Coordinator to support the Industrial Research Assistant Program (IRAP). The Project Management Coordinator would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.

Working within IRAP’s Client Enablement team, you will support the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Team (EDI Team) by developing, maintaining and supporting project plans, you will liaise with contractors and other IRAP teams to create reporting updates on collaborative projects and monitor data quality.

You will support the EDI team by monitoring the team mailbox and triaging or addressing questions and problems assigned to the team. You will provide recommendations for the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools, as well as offering administrative and coordination support to the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Team.

Education

College degree including project management courses.

Certification in Lean Six Sigma courses would be considered an asset.

Experience

  • Significant experience supporting various clients and stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience in project management co-ordination using Azure, Asana, or similar project management platforms in order to organize data, create status reports using tables, graphs and presenting the information.
  • Significant experience in the application of project management principles and the implementation of best practices.
  • Experience using MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams.
  • It would be considered an asset to have experience working with SharePoint.

  • Ability to undertake basic research, present options and provide rationale for recommendation, specifically related to their PMC work.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial and project data.
  • Ability to support the implementation of new processes, methods, or practices that improve collaboration and project management for the team.
  • Knowledge of project management theory and practices.
  • Sound knowledge of operational and financial management within a large organization preferably within a Canadian federal government context.

Compensation

Salary under review
From $60,143 to $70,963 per annum.

In addition, the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
