Job description: For almost 30 years now, Securmax has been a leader in building security systems. In order to support our continuous growth, we are recruiting a Project Manager.

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Project Manager is responsible for the planning, management and delivery of numerous integrated building security projects for an industrial & institutional clientele.

You will be trained on the Genetec suite of solutions and become an expert in building security!

 Carry out managements of projects from their approval until the final approval by clients or their representatives.
 Start all projects with the analysis and validation of the bid documents in order to ensure clear understanding of all aspects and elements of the proposal from the sales team.
 Plan projects work schedules and coordinate installation timetables, sites visits and work of all sub-contractors to meet deadlines.
 Manage deadlines (tight follow-up of delays and key delivery dates) throughout the projects and report weekly to the Director of Operations on work progress.
 Validate costs and order all necessary material, ensuring deliveries are happening in an optimal way.
 Proactively keep track of quantities and installation times during the work and focus on respecting budget whilst maximising execution costs.
 Update weekly the reports on different projects evolution and relevant invoicing. Coordinate with Technical Advisor delivery of as-built drawings. Follow up on the administration of construction sites (reports, work changes, requests for additions to original bid, corrections, etc.) to inform the Sales department timely of any opportunity. Support the Accountant and the Sales department when there are questions or payment disputes related to projects under his (her) responsibility.
 Hand out post mortem reports on every project (profitability, lessons learned, best practices) to the Director of Operations and the VP of Sales.
 Can be required to do any other task required by the Director of Operations or other members of the executive team.

REQUIREMENTS
 Three years of experience minimum as a Project Manager in construction and/or electricity. Experience in integrated security systems a plus.
 Strong sense of innovation et proven focused on problem-solving
 Leadership and team spirit
 Maintain (or request) necessary professional certifications and permits related to the role (for example: Bureau de la Sécurité Privée)
 Possess a valid drivers’ licence : Possibility of travelling to clients’ sites about 30 % of time
