RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS).
Position summary
The Edwards Family Interdisciplinary Centre for Complex Pain is looking for a motivated person to fill the position of full-time Clinical Research and Medical Education Project Manager. The team specializes in complex pain and related disorders.
General Duties
Under the direction of the principal investigator, the candidate participates in the execution of various clinical research activities including research subject recruitment, clinical trial coordination, protocol compliance, clinical trial database management and maintenance, among others. The candidate would be working on both pharma-sponsored clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies. Furthermore, the candidate would be responsible for organizing and managing medical education initiatives, community outreach, and social media marketing for the complex pain team.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Field of Study: Nursing or related field
Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of medical communications experience

Other Requirements:
- Proficiency in written and spoken French and English required,
- Excellent planning, organization, time-management skills,
- Excellent communication and networking skills,
- Computer competency including Microsoft Office Suite,
- Knowledge of clinical research software and platforms,
- Familiarity with database management and analysis.
Additional information
Status: Temporary Part-Time, 4 days per week / 28 hours per week
Pay Scale: $29.12 to $54.08 per hour, commensurate with education & work experience
Work Shift: 8am to 4pm
Work Site: Glen Site. With possibility of occasional remote work
