Job description: The Project Manager will be responsible for: * Working with the Owner and Consultant team to finalize key design elements and construction plans * Ensuring that the project tracks as per schedule and budget * Leading on the tendering process and award of contracts * Production of regular progress and cost reports * Maintaining regular communication and positive working relationships with the Site-based team and other project stakeholders MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual’s status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled and all other qualified applicants The successful Project Manager will have: * A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in a relevant construction discipline * Experience managing full cycle construction projects in a CM / GC * Sound knowledge of different construction techniques and materials – inclusive of wood frame, concrete / core-slab * Highly numerate and analytic * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills An established Construction Management firm in Toronto who have 20+ years experience in the market who specialize in Urban Infill projects. Off the back of continued successful project delivery, they are going through an exciting period of growth with project volume greater than it has ever been. As such, they are looking to hire an experienced Construction Project Manager who is able to oversee multiple projects concurrently. A salary of c.$110-125k, full benefits coverage, 3 weeks vacation, good work-life balance.
