Position Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President of IT and eCom Solutions, this position is responsible for developing and executing test strategies supporting OAK + FORT’s technology projects. The successful candidate is responsible for quality management for products and project lifecycles, including the formulation of quality assurance plans and strategies, plans, risk identification, and avoidance, project process standardization, defect management and review.
What you’re responsible for:
- Develop and execute test strategies, plans, scenarios and scripts supporting organizational
- Communicating with internal users, technical teams, and management to collect and clarify product requirements and design goals
- Ensure appropriate coverage is planned, including functional, performance, stress, acceptance testing
- Participate in project planning to determine test strategy
- Develop test plans which support a project’s objectives
- Develop scenarios and scripts which provide coverage to all impacted processes
- Set processes for test plan reviews and ensure that that test plans are reviewed by all stakeholders.
- Identify and communicate appropriate test environment requirements
- Maintain test environment and prepare data to support test activities
- Ensure deliverables meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking.
- Track and verify defect resolution using defect tracking system (Jira
- Oversee and coordinate UAT testing and sign off
- Develop strong relationships between cross functional teams
- Assisting developers in diagnosis and replication of product defects and failures
- Maintain appropriate professional designations and up-to-date knowledge of current information technology techniques and tools
- Work closely on the deadlines of the project
What looking for:
- Experience with developing and maintaining test plans and test scenarios
- Experience with retail technology, including ecommerce and point of sale platforms
- Experience with leadership and supervision
- Experience coordinating project schedules, and releases
- Understand how to identify, mitigate, and communicate both project and product risks
