Team & Role Description – 2022 Information Technology Graduate Leadership Program – Business Analyst
We are offering this exciting IT Business Analyst opportunity to a highly motivated, creative, and disciplined recent graduate that possesses an exceptional positive attitude. This role is accountable to help define and document system requirements, for developing and implementing solutions for IT’s business partners. You will partner with team members such as solutions architects, project managers, and developers.
Responsibilities
- Interpret conceptual business needs and document requirements.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and maintain IT deliverable documents.
- Acquire deep knowledge of systems and their interdependencies to drive improved efficiencies.
- Facilitate work sessions and interview subject matter experts to identify project requirements.
- Create or support in the development of the test plans and test cases including defining test conditions, negative testing and regression testing.
- Able to demonstrate initiative, develop and manage key initiatives, processes & systems, campaigns and tactics that are impactful and integrated with other key Bell priorities. Ensures results are of the highest caliber.
- Ability to support multiple delivery projects concurrently throughout their development lifecycle.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in, but not limited to the following: science, technology, business, engineering, arts.
- Ability to analyze, extract, integrate, conceptualize and apply ideas, processes and information to create solutions in a constantly changing technological and business environment.
- Familiarity with programming languages
- Skilled in business process modelling and business process documentation.
Team & Role Description – 2022 Information Technology Graduate Leadership Program – Technical Specialist
We are offering this exciting Specialist Technology opportunity to a highly motivated, creative, and disciplined recent graduate that possesses an exceptional positive attitude. This role will require you to work closely with team members such as software architects, network architects, product owners, scrum masters, and developers. The agile Specialist Technology will be primarily responsible for developing solutions as part of an agile team, and a key contributor to software design, integration and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Work with Software Vendors to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and the architectural vision.
- Guide project teams in system architecture, design, development, troubleshooting and selection of tools and technology to delivery project successfully.
- Monitor and vet major architectural decisions, changes, and open issues (e.g. data placement, tool/technology product selection, interfaces, new data stores, infrastructure issues).
- Work with Enterprise and Application Architecture teams to drive alignment around more pragmatic vs. prescriptive solutions.
- Provide consulting and direction during Project Initiation phase and support Front Door assessments.
- Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs applications for back-end (server) and infrastructure platforms
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor or master’s degree in, but not limited to the following: science, technology, business, engineering, arts.
- Knowledge of operator systems (Unix/Linux/Windows) and Java/J2EE Application servers (Weblogic, WebSphere, JBoss, etc.).
- Familiarity with programming languages is highly recommended.
- Good knowledge of software architecture patterns & practices.
