Splash Catering at Casa Loma
$15-$16/hour
Control the allocation of bar products and do ensure their correct storage and safe keeping
Control quality, quantity
Communicate order errors and inconsistencies
Organize storage according to first in first out (FIFO)
Maintain inventory levels of bar products, paper goods and disposables
Responsible for generating and controlling all relevant paper work pertaining to the purchase and storage of goods
Directly or in conjunction with the chef, purchase goods for the food and beverage department
Weekly ordering of soft drinks, propane, ice
Responsible for all upkeep of food and beverage storage areas at Casa Loma
Responsible for all required paperwork such as purchase orders, delivery slips and invoices
Responsible for the month and inventory on all bar and soft drink products, computer input of inventory information and maintaining current prices of all products in stock
Responsible for the direction of one assistant
Maintain and keep receiving areas safe and clean
Performs other tasks as assigned by the chef or manager on duty
Minimum qualifications:
2-3 years of working in receiving within a hospitality environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards staff and members
Ability to work in different temperatures and weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to operate business machines, ex: scanner, fax and photo copier etc
Health and Safety:
Must work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act Regulation
Report all accidents, illnesses or ‘near miss’ incidents to your direct reporting manager immediately
Enforce standards in regards to hygiene levels, uniforms, personal appearance and service requirements
Hours of work: full time position
Must be eligible to work in Canada
