What will your typical day look like?

In this role you will be:

• Working with a small dynamic team to ensure the ITS organization has a clear view on staffing;
• Analyzing and producing metrics and reporting on project health, cost, resource capacity and availability;
• Facilitating discussions with senior IT leaders on staffing changes;
• Documenting and reporting all staffing changes;
• Documentation of resource roles and skills for all ITS resources which is to be used to determine project resource availability;
• Acting as a subject matter expert on system changes required for resource and project management;
• Provide recommendations to support continuous improvement of Resource Management methodology, standards, and tool enhancements; and
• Maintaining Power BI Resource Management data models.

About the team

The Project Management Office (PMO) within the Information Technology Services (ITS) department requires a Senior Analyst to work closely with the Team leaders across Deloitte’s ITS organization. The PMO group provides leadership and guidance around the execution of projects and resource management capabilities for ITS across Canada. This group is focused on helping IT drive value through the successful execution of projects focusing on quality and service delivery excellence, ensuring that Deloitte standards are upheld. The PMO also ensures that the appropriate resourcing is available to not only support the implementation of these projects, but daily operations.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone who has:

• Minimum 2+ years of resource analyst experience, preferably in a PMO,
• Minimum of 2+ years of reporting experience,
• Demonstrates an understanding and knowledge of Project Management and Resource Management principles and frameworks,
• Demonstrates solid analytical/problem solving skills,
• Strong verbal and written communication skills,
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio,
• Knowledge of Power BI ETL, Semantic Layer definition and Visualization (an asset),
• Knowledge of ServiceNow’s ITBM product (an asset).
