As part of a project to change the reservation system and some of its interfaces, you will be responsible for the implementation of the company’s product and its multiple services for the benefit of B2C, B2E and B2B platform users.

Your role will be to apply Agile methodologies and techniques to the research, analysis, design and evaluation of data requirements to be fed into the booking system, in order to create the service offering of the organization.

Not only will you need to obtain the business requirements by working closely with your business colleagues, but you will need to work with technical teams and other suppliers to identify approaches to configuring the booking system that will most effectively meet these needs. You will also need to configure the booking system to validate your approach in support of the project’s business needs. Finally, you will document the established configuration approach and identify acceptance criteria to validate it.

More specifically, this role is found in more technical areas requiring an understanding of system security management and customization, user role and permission management, payment methods, etc.

  • Liaise with Business Management and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to capture, consolidate and document business requirements and explore alternative solutions;
  • Interact with business management to prioritize and validate user-requested changes;
  • Interact with the architecture team to assess the impact of changes on other systems;
  • Provide functional analysis, producing typical deliverables such as user stories, use cases, etc. at a level that developers can build and implement solutions;
  • Develop the functional specifications for the system aspects, and understand the implementation modules as well as the installation and configuration options available;
  • Carry out the configuration of the reservation system;
  • Create the reservation system configuration procedures;
  • Identify the use cases necessary to validate the configuration of the reservation system and execute the tests.

Does this sound like you?

  • Five (5) to nine (9) years of experience in a similar position;
  • Strong understanding of the importance of defining optimal business rules and applying them in line with application best practice;
  • Experience using a wide range of working practices to implement solutions to complex problems in a timely manner, using creativity where appropriate;
  • Ability to integrate continuous improvements into daily activities with the customer in mind;
  • Ability to make good decisions, after careful analysis, using experience and judgement;
  • Proactive approach, anticipating and solving problems as they arise;
  • Knowledge of the following methodologies: UML, Agile, Scrum and Kanban;
  • Data-driven decision making, excellent analytical skills and strong experience in creating key performance indicators;
  • Communication with teams in French and English. Level expected:
