About the Opportunity
The Secretary is accountable and responsible for providing administrative/secretarial support with minimal supervision/direction to the Integrated Chronic Care Service team. He/she is responsible for efficient prioritization of multiple responsibilities to meet the requirements of the department(s) utilizing initiative, judgment and knowledge in a highly confidential manner. The Secretary will be a key contact for the Integrated Chronic Care Service team and will interface with staff, clients, the public and community agencies.

About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Secretarial diploma and/or course from a recognized college or school of business plus a minimum of one year of related experience
- Demonstrated typing proficiency with a speed of 60 wpm required
- Working knowledge of patient registration and scheduling systems and payroll system
- Medical terminology preferred
- Experience in a health care setting preferred
- Experience working in Primary Health Care an asset
- Must be self-directed and adept at problem-solving while working with minimal supervision
- Must have strong organizational skills that demonstrate the ability to prioritize upon short notice while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours
- Permanent part-time (80%) position; 56 hours biweekly

Compensation and Incentives
$23.07 – $25.59 Hourly
