Our client, a growing company in the high-technology industry, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to be in charge of the company’s daily activities.

Job Qualifications:

– Professional accounting designation (CPA)
– Experience in a start up – asset
– More than 6 years of pertinent experience
– Command of the Microsoft Excel software
– Bilingualism (French/English)
– Hands-on and proactive approach, modesty and professionalism
– Autonomy and analytical skills
– Resourcefulness and ability to learn quickly
– Strong knowledge of full accounting cycle

Job Description:

– Contribute to the production of the annual budget and forecasts and calculate variances from budget including reporting significant issues to management
– Lead all aspects related to RD credit financing
– Prepare financial statements and internal controls
– Review processes and streamline existing ones
– Develop internal reporting tools
– Develop KPIs
– Negotiate with banks and tiers
– Ensure accurate and timely compliance reports are submitted to investors
– Ensure reporting accuracy
– Prepare audit file
– Prepare financial reports
