Senior Business Development Manager – eDiscovery and Information Governance

Ricoh Canada is seeking a highly skilled consultative salesperson to join our Legal Services team as a Senior Business Development Manager – eDiscovery and Information Governance. This role must drive new business growth and increased market share in the Ontario (and Eastern Canadian) Corporate markets.

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled hunter who prepares value-based sales proposals, price estimates, and presentations to successfully win new clients. The role serves as a key member of the Sales and Business Development Team and is responsible for achieving a specified sales quota by effectively selling technology and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect with a hunter’s mentality
  • Qualify sales leads and build multi-level client relationships
  • Develop existing accounts in predefined territories
  • Seek new and innovative sources of revenue
  • Relentless drive to build the best service business in Canada

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of Business Development experience in a SaaS/Services Sales role preferably in the Legal industry
  • Proven ability to hunt and close business
  • Ability to understand market opportunities, formulate strategies, and successfully execute on said strategies
  • Experience working in a multifaceted organization and building strong peer-to-peer relationships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and eagerness to embrace new challenges and opportunities

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Salesforce
  • Excellent visual, verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior people skills and emotional intelligence
  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to achieve results despite barriers and challenges

Working Conditions:

  • Position is in Toronto, Ontario and involves a combination of working in the office, home office and at client sites. Travel across Canada / US may be required.

  • Requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (and auto insurance coverage per Ricoh’s policy)
