Salary: $55K to $65K
Our client, a leading communication firm, is seeking an experienced IT Technician, Level 2 to join their team and provide technical support to both their IT support team and internal end users.
Key Qualifications:
– Excellent customer service skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities
– Experience working in an ITIL/best practice environment
– Proficiency with Azure AD, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 Suite
– Familiarity with providing support for MacOS, iOS, Android, and Windows 10
– Previous experience in setting up laptops and resolving printer issues
– Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently
– A collaborative team player committed to thorough documentation
Responsibilities:
– Analyze and resolve support tickets following ITSM procedures and best practices
– Collaborate with Technician L3 for advanced expertise when required
– Assign tickets to other IT support groups for resolution as needed
– Evaluate the impact and urgency of client issues and modify tickets accordingly
– Maintain ticket updates after each intervention
– Communicate with end users to gather additional information and conduct necessary tests
– Provide regular progress updates to clients on ticket status
– Confirm service restoration or completion of service requests with clients
– Collaborate with Technician L3 or Supervisor for hierarchical escalations or special incidents
– Identify and analyze problem tickets, including root cause analysis
– Identify and establish relationships for Master-Child tickets
– Perform equipment reception processes and proactive role-related problem reporting
Requirements:
– Exceptional customer service skills and ethical conduct
– Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
– Previous experience in an ITIL/best practice environment
– Proficiency with Azure AD, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 Suite
– Familiarity with supporting end users on MacOS, iOS, Android, and Windows 10
– Experience in laptop setup and printer issue resolution
– Strong troubleshooting skills and autonomy in problem-solving
– Collaborative team player dedicated to thorough documentation
Desirable:
– ITIL certification
– Bilingual proficiency in English and French
