We are currently looking for a systems administrator for one of our customers. This is a permanent, hybrid position. Salary varies according to experience ($85,000 to $100,000).
Your duties will include :
- Maintain a complete inventory of hardware, software and firmware.
- Implement, document and maintain configuration baselines for hardware, firmware, applications and other system components.
- Conduct architectural reviews to assess the efficiency, scalability and security of existing IT infrastructure.
- Make recommendations to improve system architecture, performance and security based on industry best practices.
- Implement, document and manage backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Develop, implement and test disaster recovery plans.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls and virtual private networks.
- Monitor system performance, security events and capacity planning parameters.
- Diploma (DEC) or Bachelor’s degree (BAC) in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Solid knowledge of best practices in systems administration, configuration management and change management.
- Experience in managing and maintaining network infrastructure and services.
- Experience in implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Familiarity with system performance and security monitoring tools and techniques.
