Course Description: The course will focus on selected aspects of, and various approaches to politics in education. In particular, it will probe issues associated with the history and basics of the discipline of politics of education, micropolitics of education, micropolitics and teachers, micropolitics and leadership, the politics of education and reform and the politics of education and diversity. The course readings will also expose students to issues and approaches to the politics of education.

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates should possess a doctorate degree in Educational Administration or a relevant discipline with evidence of mastery in the subject area. Demonstrated prior experience in graduate level teaching online, preferably using Canvas/Quercus. Demonstrated prior graduate teaching experience in the areas of course topic.

Duties: Prepare, organize, and teach this full-course graduate seminar; be available to students seeking assistance between classes; evaluate and provide students with feedback on their work.
