Course Description: This course develops an understanding of the principles of teaching and learning in higher education, and it develops skills in the practice of teaching in higher education.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must hold an EdD or PhD in Higher Education or a related field and have evidence of expertise in the areas of the topic of the course. Demonstrated prior experience in graduate level teaching online, preferably using Canvas/Quercus. Demonstrated prior graduate teaching experience in the areas of course topic.
Duties: Prepare, organize, and teach this full-course graduate seminar; be available to students seeking assistance between classes; evaluate and provide students with feedback on their work.
