Social Worker, Psychotherapist (on-site EAP program)

Chalk River, ON

Independent Contractor

2 days/week (day time)

The opportunity

Reporting to the Clinical Supervisor, you will be providing counselling services for TELUS Health’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) on-site, at an organization based in Chalk River.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term counselling to a diverse set of clients dealing with various issues, within the terms and conditions of the client’s EAP;
• Manage the administrative requirements as dictated by TELUS Health’s clinical models;
• Completing promotional events and possibly trainings.

Who we are looking for

• Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work;
• Fully registered with the OCSWSSW or CRPO, with valid professional liability insurance;
• Minimum three (3) years post-graduate counselling experience;
• Ability to set short term objectives and use a solution focused approach;
• Ability to clinically manage high-risk cases;
• Good knowledge of community resources;
• Must be available to work the required hours and travel to on-site location.
