About This Opportunity

The IT Specialist will support Management & IT Architect in the evolution, design, maintenance and support of Coke Canada IT infrastructure, applications, systems, & procedures. The IT Specialist will provide senior level leadership/project management for IT operations, initiatives, projects, and new emerging technologies. The IT Specialist will install and configure hardware and software packages ensuring compliance with all industry best practices and established Coke Canada technology standards.

As required, the IT Specialist will provide appropriate Tier II/III support, escalation, and resolution to end user incidents/problems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership by proactively working with business and broader IT team to understand business processes, how technology facilitates same, business pain points, technology gaps and provide recommendations to resolves issues short term and long term.
  • Proactively provide technical assistance and education to improve end user experience with new and existing technology.
  • Support IT Architect and Management in design of new infrastructure, applications, & systems.
  • Lead complex IT projects, provide senior IT support to business initiatives requiring IT expertise
  • Provides the appropriate Tier II and Tier III support, escalation, and resolution to problems as they arise. Interface with and assist support team to resolve incidents and ensure escalations are handled in a timely and efficient manner. Provide remote and/or on-site IT operational support, maintenance, problem solving, configuration and installation. Serve as a liaison between end users, managed service vendors, other vendors, and other technical groups to resolve complex IT issues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years Computer Science or similar technical degree strongly preferred, 5 years progressive demonstrated experience in Information Technology or similar Technical/Business experience.
  • Demonstrated Complex Project Management experience. Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Expert level technical expertise recognized for multiple aspects of Coke Canada Technology Suite : PC/Deskside Support, Wintel Environment, Output Management, IT Infrastructure (Servers, Routers, AP’s), Microsoft O365 Applications, Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Tenant and Services, PowerShell scripting, CONA, Coke Canada Devices, Service Now, Telephony, etc.
  • Demonstrated strong written, verbal, presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel as needed, support multiple locations.
