We are looking for a supervisor – IT project team for one of our clients located in downtown Montreal. This is a permanent position – salary between $75,000 and $85,000 depending on experience.

Your missions:

Job description:

• Manage staffing and capacity so as to have, at all times, the required expertise as well as the right number of people in the team to meet the needs of projects and developments, in conjunction with IT services and according to priorities
• Prioritize and follow up on requests in partnership with service owners, according to the vision and alignment of the business units
• Plan and coordinate all integration activities under the responsibility of the team
• Implement and provide KPIs on team and service performance on a monthly basis
• Coordinate the team’s activities by organizing a daily meeting
• Manage the dashboard of services operated by the IT Service Integration team
• Participate in the selection, orientation, development plan, evaluation and training of team members
• Initiate and support innovation, skills development and creativity of the team in order to remain at the cutting edge of best practices and to implement them
• Implement or continuously improve the methods, processes, procedures, templates and tools required to carry out the activities for which he/she is responsible
• Supervise the personnel and ensure the communication of information within the unit and to all stakeholders in relation to the activities under his/her supervision

Profile description:

• Bachelor’s degree in management information systems or other relevant field
• Minimum of three years’ experience in personnel management
• Minimum of five years’ experience in management information systems or other relevant field
• Ability to prioritize in order to effectively handle multiple issues simultaneously
• Ability to coordinate and mobilize a team, understand organizational issues, negotiate and make decisions in difficult situations (budgetary, resource issues, etc.)
• Ability to work under pressure and be comfortable in emergency mode
• Fluency in French and English spoken and written

Work experience: 3-4 years
