The primary focus is to develop and deliver an entry level training program for new Replenishment Analysts and to provide ongoing support and coaching to existing RA’s. This involves providing RAs with the theoretical, analytical, practical, and functional knowledge, skills, and attitudes they need to be successful. The SCE Trainer will also be responsible for new supplier onboarding and providing continuing support for Vendor inquiries and occasional high level Supply Chain training to other internal stakeholders. Additionally, the SCE Trainer maintains and evaluates the training curriculum on a regular basis to be reflective of the current business practices and processes in accordance with Adult Learning precepts and structures.

What you’ll do
- Consult with various stakeholders to develop training curriculum including lesson plans, instructional aides, participant guides and resources and eLearning materials
- Maintain eLearning materials and training curriculum on an ongoing basis to ensure that it is up to date, correct, available and meets the needs of the learner using modern technologies (i.e Articulate 360 and Camtasia)
- Provide ongoing functional support and coaching to Replenishment Analysts
- Provide new Canadian Tire Vendors with training, resources, and support for supply chain related processes with moving their product on time and in full
- Deliver training programs primarily through Virtual learning or classroom environment if necessary
- Consult in projects which involve the development, implementation and ongoing review of initiatives and processes impacting the RA and Vendors
- Support other Supply Chain initiatives by creating and reviewing communication and training materials, and offering suggestions for improvement
- Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to validate information and clarify processes
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Stay up to date of new learning and teaching methodologies according to Adult Learning or Corporate Training concepts
What you bring
- University degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Business, Social Sciences, Humanities, Adult Education or related field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Able to work independently and as a member of a dynamic team
- Strong people and networking/consulting skills
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with other stakeholders within Canadian Tire
- Proven experience coaching others
- Ability to analyse information and make recommendations for improvement.
- Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office Suite Applications
- Enthusiastic, motivational and creative
- Knowledgeable in Supply Chain and Replenishment (Experience with Replenishment Applications i.e JDA Fulfilment, AOM (Advanced Order Management), VMS (Visibility Management System)
- Experience and/or knowledge in Adult Education
- Experience and or knowledge with Learning Management Systems, i.e TLA Workday
- Experience or knowledge utilizing eLearning design software i.e Articulate 360
- Rudimentary knowledge of Learning Experience Design and/or User Experience Design
- Previous training experience and/or presentation skills
- An understanding of Merchandising and Advertising policies, processes and/or systems
