Job description: I’m Clémence, recruitment and business development consultant at FED IT, a recruitment agency specializing in IT professions.

I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent.

I’m currently looking for a Systems Administrator in hybrid mode for one of our customers located on the west side of Montreal.

Your missions will be as follows:

– Monitor emerging infrastructure technologies.

– Implement, document, and maintain configuration baselines for hardware, firmware, applications, and other system components.

Evaluate and analyze business requirements, technology environment, and technology choices to determine alternative solutions to meet business needs.

– Make recommendations to improve system architecture, performance, and security based on industry best practices.

– Carry out and document backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.

– Develop, implement, and test disaster recovery plans.

– Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and virtual private networks.

– Monitor system performance, security events, and capacity planning parameters.

– Diploma (DEC) or Bachelor’s degree (BAC) in computer science or equivalent experience.

– Solid knowledge of best practices in systems administration, configuration management, and change management.

– Experience in managing and maintaining network infrastructure and services.

– Experience in implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions.

– Familiarity with system performance and security monitoring tools and techniques.

– Solid knowledge of hardware, software, firmware, and network technologies.

– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

– Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

– Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

– Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
