Job Description: This is a course in the Online modality of the Bachelor of Nursing Integrated Program. Under the supervision of and in collaboration with the course coordinator and the facilitators, the teaching assistant (TA) will assist students with acquiring and integrating new knowledge in the process of inquiry-based learning and will grade learning activities in the course. The TA is expected to attend some of the synchronous remote classes and must therefore be available at the scheduled class time – (availability TBD, 6-7 2-hour sessions per semester). They will also need to meet with the course coordinator during the semester (online consultation). The TA will also help with the lab’s simulation activities (set-up, patient exam etc.; 3 sim days per semester). The TA will be available to review assignments after grades are posted to students if necessary. Given the remote nature of course delivery, all the activities (except for the lab simulations) will be done via Zoom.
Salary: $33.03/hour

Current Masters or Doctoral student at McGill.
Graduate teaching experience is preferred and an asset.
