Job description: Position Overview:
Totten is looking for a Technical Assistant, Programs to provide exceptional customer service to our broker partners and work to expand Totten’s presence in the REIN program (Real Estate Investment Network). The position is best suited for someone who is a self-starter that is willing to put in the time and effort it takes to build rapport with our key broker partners. Role Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Underwriter with policy issuance, coding, endorsements, and cancellations
- Accounts Receivable reconciliation
- Ensuring all documents are issued, meet our Compliance Standards
- Maintain broker visibility by participating in scheduled monthly team calls, and broker sales calls
- Build rapport with our insurer partners domestically, and our broker partners
- Work with the goal of providing or finding solutions for all stakeholders
- Demonstrate effective workflow management through prioritization and work with a sense of urgency
- Handle account inquiries from our broker partners and internally
- Work closely with others across all business segments at Totten to leverage cross-sell opportunities
- Other duties may be assigned as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Insurance industry experience
- University or post-secondary equivalent education preferred/industry designations (i.e. CIP)
- RIBO Licensed Required (or within the first 3 months of employment)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical abilities
- Develop strong market and broker relationships
