To strengthen our Sales and Commercial Operations team covering British Columbia and Manitoba, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of Territory Manager/HCP Partner (Immunology Dermatology).

As a Territory Manager/HCP Partner, you will be responsible for amplifying and strengthening the matching of UCB therapeutic solutions with appropriate patients in assigned accounts and territory through strong collaborative relationships with key HCPs.

You like to work in an environment where you can:

  • Develop and ensure optimal implementation of territory business plans, sales analysis and allocation of promotional resources.
  • Define, develops and executes impactful tactical plans and programs to meet the needs of the customers and their patients.
  • Utilize approved marketing tools and clinical studies to advance the understanding of the science supporting marketed products and indications.
  • Communicate key benefits to targeted customers in-order to support product positioning and drive patient value through quality face to face customer interactions.

You will contribute by:

  • Identifying and analyzing medical, scientific and therapeutic area opportunities and problems, and making proposals for appropriate solutions.
  • Understanding the health ecosystem and how it changes over time, and using that to inform territory planning, tactics and budget spend/ investments.
  • Understanding the relevant metrics important to the customer and business and considering the impact on and alignment with the organization when setting territory goals, making decisions and organizing activities.
  • Contributing to the creation and maintenance of partnerships and novel ways of interacting with stakeholders and managing available resources and processes needed to secure them.
  • Identifying and assessing risk and incorporating appropriate risk mitigation activities into strategies and actions.
  • Actively preparing account strategies based on stakeholder segmentation and specific stakeholder needs or objectives.
  • Traveling within the assigned territory on a routine basis; some overnight travel is required to see all target customers; on occasion, the Territory Manager will be required to represent UCB in business functions such as, conferences, congresses that may require being present during weekend.

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in health sciences, business or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Must reside in geographic boundaries of the territory (British Columbia).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling to Dermatologists is highly preferred.
  • High personal motivation with a customer-service orientation and an entrepreneurial mind set.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
