The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for:
- Full onboarding process of our newly recruited package handlers (sorters) in the station; which includes the initial contact for their first day details, ensuring all e-trainings are completed in a timely manner and assisting them with any questions or concerns during this process;
- Reviewing and approving the sorters’ time cards on a daily basis;
- Printing the ID cards for all station employees;
- Monitoring and maintaining the main log by tracking the information for line hauls, time of reception and tracking the case numbers using the various softwares;
- Ensuring that the set meetings with the Business Partners are being completed;
- Reviewing the inventory and making sure that any lost packages from the previous day are accounted for and addressed with the Station Manager;
- All other related tasks.
What do you need to be successful?
- Minimum 1-year experience in an administrative position;
- Logistics transportation diploma (asset);
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent ability to manage stress and pressure especially in a fast-paced environment;
- Well-organized and able to manage your time efficiently;
- Able to work autonomously as well as with different departments;
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
