As a Wedge Technical Sales Support at United Rentals, you will be responsible for sales support, product development, field installation, field training and solution consults for customers. You will be responsible on-site installation & service of Wedge System to all existing and potential customers. You will also be responsible for managing inventory & maintenance of equipment. You’ll be instrumental in providing solutions for the branch and district.

Additional duties include the following:
Seek out new customers, service current customers, and cultivate opportunities that lead to increase profitability
Provide full range of services to new and current customers, including needs assessment, quotes and follow up quality checks
Act as a subject matter Wedge expert with the internal sales team in identifying customer opportunities, implementation, training and support
Educate customers on Wedge systems through demonstrations and training; educate their employees on proper use
Provide on-site installation and technical support
Gather customer feedback & communicate new opportunities for new solutions and/or functionality to the WEDGE Product Team
Educate district personnel on properly identifying Wedge system opportunities
Other duties assigned as needed
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Sales Experience considered an asset
Minimum 1-3 years construction experience
A valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Strong oral and written communication skills
