Pay: £750 – £850 per day (Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications)

About the role

Edwin Education is currently recruiting on behalf of our London office for a Year 3 Teacher in Hayes, United Kingdom. We have a constant flow of short and long-term roles for Supply Teachers across a wide range of schools and are currently recruiting for a cover in preparation for January 2023. We welcome Canadian trained teachers to apply.

Our London office is currently looking to appoint a Year 3 Primary Teacher to cover maternity for a Ofsted (UK’s governing body for standards in education) rated ‘Good’ school in Hayes.

Year Three Teacher needed full-time from January to plan, teach and assess against the Primary National Curriculum, as well as fulfill wider professional responsibilities.

The role is available initially as maternity cover with potential for a permanent contract.

The successful candidate will teach a class of 30 pupils with support from a full time, experienced Level 3 TA.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Year 3 Primary Teacher you will:

• Experience in KS2 desirable (Years 3 – Years 6)
• Use a range of strategies to inspire and motivate pupils
• Demonstrate excellent subject and curriculum knowledge
• Bachelor of Education / Post Graduate Diploma of Education / or equivalent teaching degree with current teacher registration
• Graduate Teachers and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply
• Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills
• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Bachelor of Education / Post Graduate Diploma of Education / or equivalent teaching degree with current teacher registration
