Job title: Director of Finance – 15 months

Job description: Key Accountabilities of this Director of Finance are to ensure credibility of Financial team by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.

• Supervise all aspects of finance and accounting functions
• Lead the process of producing accurate and timely monthly financial statements to analyze and report on financial performance
• Oversee the preparation of journal entries, general ledger account analysis and reconciliations
• Act as a point of contact for the CRA and external auditors
• Manage audits, investigations, reviews of corporate tax, HST remittances and annual external reviews and audits
• Audit workflows to ensure that accounting transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with industry and accounting standards

Job Requirements:
Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA highly desirable.
• CPA designation preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in Financial Leadership role – preferably in food & beverage, hospitality, retail or property management industry
• Experience with SAGE / ACCPAC and Micros POS preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
