Job description: Our client, in the insurance industry located in Scarborough is looking for a Accounting Analyst to join them on a 6-month assignment. Role will be working onsite. If selected candidate must show proof of vaccination.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Prepare variance analysis and commentary
- Prepare month end journal entries
- Maintain investment continuity schedule
- Assist with OSFI reporting including lead schedule preparation
- Assist with year-end audit
- G/L accounts reconciliations
- Prepare monthly tax provision
- Prepare regulatory tax filings
