The Sales Accounting Coordinator will perform multiple functions in the finance shared services department.
Freight Accounts Payable
- Vendor Payments
- Reconciliations & trouble shooting
- Review aged AP
- Handle any accrual adjustments
External Warehouse Inventory
- Aged Inventory updates
- Correspond with warehouses re inventory discrepancies
- Setup loads in the system for shipment
- Handle invoicing and documents
Assist, support all members of the FSS team when required
Education & Experience
- Minimum two years related work experience
- Minimum two years Business / Accounting diploma or equivalent
Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication skills; verbal and written
- Advanced Excel skills, combined with a proficiency in Data Analysis
- Working knowledge of OBIEE is an advantage
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling with advanced proficiency in Excel
- Excellent organizational skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Prioritization skills and responsiveness to sales team needs
- Demonstrated ability to execute results against strategy and meet deadlines
- Microsoft Office skills (MS Word, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new systems
- Detailed understanding of wood products manufacturing and construction lumber
- Self-motivation and ability to undertake new challenges
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong work ethic
