The Sales Accounting Coordinator will perform multiple functions in the finance shared services department.

Freight Accounts Payable

  • Vendor Payments
  • Reconciliations & trouble shooting
  • Review aged AP
  • Handle any accrual adjustments

External Warehouse Inventory

  • Aged Inventory updates
  • Correspond with warehouses re inventory discrepancies
  • Setup loads in the system for shipment
  • Handle invoicing and documents

Assist, support all members of the FSS team when required

Education & Experience

  • Minimum two years related work experience
  • Minimum two years Business / Accounting diploma or equivalent

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written
  • Advanced Excel skills, combined with a proficiency in Data Analysis
  • Working knowledge of OBIEE is an advantage
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling with advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Prioritization skills and responsiveness to sales team needs
  • Demonstrated ability to execute results against strategy and meet deadlines
  • Microsoft Office skills (MS Word, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new systems
  • Detailed understanding of wood products manufacturing and construction lumber
  • Self-motivation and ability to undertake new challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong work ethic
