Shift: 4 hours a week, 16 hours a month

Compensation: $18-20 per hour

Real Food for Real Kids (RFRK) is a growing company on a mission to make real food the standard rather than the exception.

A multiple award-winning company recognized for excellence and innovation, we’re a leading healthy catering company for child care centres, schools and camps. RFRK proudly serves nutritious meals and snacks to thousands of children throughout the Greater Toronto & Hamilton Area every day. We’ve also recently launched our Real Food Kitchen Delivery service ( ) to get our yummy food directly into households. Having recently received HACCP certification, we’re well poised for growth into new markets and planning for significant expansion over the coming years.

Our Accounting and Finance department is looking for a fantastic person to join us as a finance administrator. If you like the sound of us so far, keep reading to see if you have the experience and skills needed for this rewarding role!

About the Role:

This role will be hybrid and focus on supporting the day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting teams. These teams play an important role in operations and are integral to producing and maintaining financial information within RFRK. As the finance administrator, you will have the opportunity to gain insight into several areas of the business.

Some of the things you’ll get paid to do:

Import Purchase Orders

Enter vendor invoices

Cross-check open purchase orders for accruals

Reconcile vendor statements

Process electronic cheque deposits

Respond to customer / vendor / internal emails

Post daily receipts and payments for bank reconciliation

About You:

Qualifications:

You should have achieved or be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related field

Excellent communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a team environment

Superior interpersonal skills, communication skills (oral and written) and takes initiative

Demonstrated ability to multi-task with proven organizational skills

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

You have strengths both working independently as well as part of a team

Additional Skills

Positive attitude, with an ability to motivate others to get things done

Dedicated to continual success

Being a forward thinker

Strong attendance record

Works well as a team or individual

Ability to read, write and speak English

Follow written and verbal instructions

Knowledge of Google Suite

Nice-to-haves

Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role

French as a second language
