Job Description

SSENSE is seeking an experienced SAP Lead to join our team. The person will be responsible for leading a team and analyzing and designing SAP Finance & Order to Cash processes. This includes areas such as Account Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Month End closing, Intercompany Sales, and other related processes. They will work closely with key stakeholders to gather requirements, identify areas for process improvement, and ensure that SAP Finance functionality meets the business needs. Additionally, they will collaborate with other functional teams, including Procure to Pay, Logistics, Integration, Workday, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of SAP Finance processes across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and experience in SAP Finance implementation and support, as well as leadership skills to lead a team and work with stakeholders to provide support and suggest system and process improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Delivery

  • Analyze and design SAP Finance & Order to Cash processes, including Account Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Month End closing, Intercompany Sales, and other related processes.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Ensure that SAP Finance functionality meets the business needs and is aligned with overall organizational goals and strategies.
  • Collaborate with other functional teams, including Procure to Pay, logistics, Integration, Workday, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of SAP Finance processes across the organization.
  • Provide leadership in the implementation and support of SAP Finance modules, including configuration, testing, and training.
  • Carry out SAP configuration, unit testing and Integration testing.
  • Set up the processes in SAP for new legal entities and finance processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Identify and address issues and risks related to SAP Finance processes and proactively work towards resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP Finance trends, best practices, and technologies, and provide recommendations for system and process improvements.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to SAP Finance processes, including process flows, functional specifications, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth end-to-end business processes and data integrity.

Leadership & People Development

  • Lead and manage the SAP Finance Teams, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship as needed.
  • Develop team members by setting goals, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive and productive team environment, promoting collaboration and open communication.
  • Lead and manage projects related to SAP Finance implementation and process improvement, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
  • Work with the SI team to ensure successful delivery of the project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP Finance implementation and support.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in leading and managing a team.
  • In-depth understanding of Order to Cash processes, including Account Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Month End closing, Intercompany Sales, and other related processes.
  • Strong technical skills in SAP Finance, including configuration and testing.
  • Experience with integration of SAP Finance with other modules and systems, such as Procure to Pay, logistics, Workday, and IT.
  • Knowledge of current SAP Finance trends, best practices, and technologies.
  • Professional certification in SAP Finance, an asset,.
