The mission of the Payroll Department is to accurately process employee compensation on time and ensure payroll compliance

As the Associate, Payroll, you will support to deliver against the effective processing of Canadian employee payroll and ensure business and regulatory standards are met. THE ROLE

As the Associate, Payroll, you will:

• Process bi-weekly payroll for Retail and Distribution center employees (salary and hourly) in Canada (various provinces) in accordance with payroll schedules, government regulations, policies and procedures
• Respond in a timely manner to payroll inquiries from internal customers and external agencies
• Identify and escalate issues that need to be addressed, and provide input and recommendation toward the solutions
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement procedures to enhance payroll services quality

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Associate, Payroll has:

• Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in Payroll
• A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia’s Values and Business and People Leadership principles
• The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
