Are you passionate about numbers and want to contribute to the success of a growing company? Groupe Bâtir is looking for a talented and experienced accounting clerk to join our dynamic team.

YOUR MISSION

As an accounting clerk, your role will be to assist the accounting technician in the daily management of our company’s accounting operations.

YOUR GOALS

– Perform daily general accounting and bookkeeping tasks.

– Enter invoices, checks and deposits into the accounting system.

– Validate and verify transactions.

– Reconcile account balances and bank statements.

– Assist in the preparation of tax returns and the production of financial reports.

– Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate monitoring of financial operations.

– Maintain the confidentiality of the company’s financial information.

– Support in integrating costs into the project management system (Procore).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

– College diploma in accounting or any other relevant training.

– Previous experience as an accounting clerk or in a similar role.

– Experience in the construction field (an asset).

– Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and current tax legislation.

– Mastery of accounting software (QuickBooks and Sage) and the Microsoft Office suite.

– Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
