The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO and working with the Chief Operating Officer and IT team, the ERP Implementation Project Manager will be responsible for leading a group of SMEs in our redeployment of the Genius ERP system from start to finish as well as launch and deployment of the Salesforce CRM system.
The role itself will include (but not limited to) the following:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a set of project requirements, aligned to business objectives, as well as gaining full understanding of current and future state business processes.
- Facilitate the decision-making process and drive the development process.
- Generate semi-monthly Project Status Reports compiling risk management, tasks completed, Cost Estimate at completion, in process and pending. The report will include updates on resources consumed and budget status.
- Manage and communicate effectively with members of the implementation team.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with executive sponsors, teams, and stakeholders.
- Develop Project Charter including schedule, Process Assessment, Data Loading/Conversion, Process, Implementation, UAT, and go-live/post go-live.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders, ensuring adherence to the project baseline.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring corrective action is taken, when necessary, to improve project performance.
- Provide status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
- Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Experience in implementation of Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP Systems and CRM software
- PMP certification required.
- Scrum Master Certification desired
- Knowledge and experience in cross-functional project management methods, software, and techniques.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Skill in planning and preparing written communications.
- Interpersonal skills, communication skills, influence, and active listening.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
